Digital tachographs are now fitted to all new heavy goods vehicles, buses and coaches. Drivers using these vehicles are required to have a driver card to operate the digital tachograph.

scitrans, can provide you with training courses for drivers, management and staff, who will operate, download and analyse digital and analogue tachographs.

Transport Managers should be aware that digital tachographs record every journey and event whether or not a driver card is inserted!

Last year 2,500 operators were required, by  the Road Safety Authority, to submit analogue charts and digital tachograph files for 3 months operations. It is likely that this request for tachograph data will increase both in volume and frequency.

So be prepared! Have your data ready, analysed and in date order.

Whether you have a large number of vehicles, or just one we can help you with training, downloading and analysis of driver hours and rest periods.
